A family photograph
This photo
was taken one year and half ago. It was my first travel abroad, I earnt an international scholarship to Spain in 2015, and the travel was set for January
21th, 2016. We were in the International Airport. It was my first time, and, if
I have to be honest, I cried a lot saying goodbye for such long time (6 months,
wich, now in retrospective, doesn't seem that much) and being afraid that an
accident might happen in the flight and I end up dying in the middle of the
sea.
From left
to right, my grandma is the little old lady. I'm in the middle, the tallest one
in the family. Then, there's my little sister, who's being held by the
shoulders by my mother, the last one. This is actually one of the few photos we
have, the four of us together. We don't take that much pictures, as groups, if
I'm honest. It's probably in this situations, where something important happen,
that we dare to took a photography. Realizing this. I guess I will talk to this
with them, because it's not possible that it's been ONE YEAR AND HALF and we
don't have another photo together.
Now, I have
to declare that there is actually a male member in our little family, my
sister's father who's my step father, but due to work situations (plus that he
don't like Santiago at all) he stayed in our town, far away (ok, is not that much.
Only three hours from Santiago. But still, three hours are something) and
wasn't able to accompany us in this farewell.
This is my, pretty much matriarcal,
family heart.
